Amanda  was born on April 3, 1986 in South Charleston,WV. She was raised in Putnam county, where she lived with her mother, father, and younger brother. Her parents divorced in 2000, and Amanda chose to live with her mother. She still saw her father routinely, until he was deployed to Iraq. He was there for about 2 years, but returned home safely. Amanda graduated from Winfield High School in 2004, and began her career at Marshall University. She knew from the start she wanted to be a speech-language pathologist! Amanda is currently a senior in the Communication Disorders program at Marshall University in Huntington, WV.  Amanda’s goals for the future include: completing her degree in Communication Disorders, and obtaining a Master’s degree in Speech Pathology. She resides in Eleanor, WV with her husband, Lemmy,two ferrets, turtle, and dog. Amanda enjoys reading, spending time with friends and family, scuba diving, walking, and summer weather.
